Kate Spire, Director of First Impressions, joined Summit Wealth Group in October of 2017 at the Scottsdale location. She has almost 30 years of executive-level administration experience having worked in the arenas of religious leadership, educational advising and as a 4-H agent for the Cornell Cooperative Extension service. Most recently, she has been the executive assistant at a law firm as well as a professional travel planner and office manager at a local agency.
Kate is from Boston and went to schools all along the East Coast. She earned an Associate’s degree in Applied Animal Science specializing in small animal and horse husbandry from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, New Hampshire; a Bachelor’s of Science in Agricultural Education from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, VA and a Masters of Divinity from Eastern Mennonite Seminary, Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Kate is a proud mom of her 17-year old daughter who attends Arizona Agribusiness and Equine Center-Paradise Valley Early College High School who is hoping to follow in her grandfather’s footsteps and attend MIT. When Kate finds time, she loves to cruise, especially to Alaska (3 times). She has ridden horses since she was 9 and one day looks forward to doing a cattle drive with her closest friends, City Slickers style!
