Associate Financial Advisor - Colorado Springs, CO

The Associate Financial Advisor will support and collaborate with the Senior or Lead Advisor to create a solid foundation allowing you, the advisor, to nurture and grow a client base established on Summit culture, investment philosophy, and mentoring strategies.
Summit Associate Financial Advisors proactively build, generate, and develop new and existing client relationships. In addition, they identify opportunities to create custom-tailored financial strategies and solutions that fulfill clients' short-and long-term financial goals while pursuing their dreams.
An individual in this position helps clients identify their unique financial needs and objectives by uncovering, probing, and determining opportunities and services to enhance the client relationship.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Responding to client questions and concerns
Client portfolio and risk tolerance analysis and reviews
Identifying new asset opportunities
Cash-generating decisions
Monitoring and implementing financial planning recommendations, including cash management, insurance coverage, and investment planning
Initial compensation varies based on experience, skillset, and certifications:
Initial Salary Range: Base $60K+ (DOE):
Compensation Structure: Declining Base Salary, plus New Business Revenue (Commission Grid), Company Performance Profit Sharing Incentive Bonuses, and Benefits

This position's general knowledge and skills requirements include:
A minimum of two to five years of client-facing experience and operations knowledge in the investment/insurance industry
FINRA Series 6 or 7 registration, along with 63 and 65 (or Series 66)
Life, Health, & LTC licensure, or ability to obtain within 90-days
Enrolled in CRPC or CFP curriculum within the first six months in the position. Obtain CRPC within one year of starting the position
Travel
Limited travel required for company meetings, training, and occasional meetings at client locations. The employee must be able to travel independently on an infrequent basis, including some overnight stays.
