Michael joined Summit Wealth Group after working as a financial advisor at a regional planning firm. Prior to joining the financial industry, Michael served in various management and business development roles before focusing on his desire to work directly with people by finding ways to identify and craft solutions to some of life’s most complex challenges. Michael helps navigate his clients down their personal financial roadmaps through comprehensive financial planning and personalized guidance every step of the way. Michael and his team can help you find peace through clarity and help you to make sound financial decisions, whether you’re preparing for retirement or just getting started.
Michael holds his FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations in addition to licenses in life, health, and long-term care insurance.
Outside of Summit, Michael is a self-taught drummer, with his closest friendships having deep roots in making music together. He is a Shelby Farms regular, where he spends time biking on the Greenline or hiking through the surrounding natural forests. Michael’s wife Lindsey teaches Spanish at the University of Memphis, and they have a beautiful son, Hunter, who is following in his parent’s footsteps of playing the drums and slowly learning Spanish at a young age.
Michael strives to live by two core principles that his grandmother instilled in him since early childhood, which include “Treat others the way you would like to be treated” and “The most important thing you can do right now is to be kind to the person right in front of you.”
These two core principles guide Michael’s focus on doing his best to be a deep listener and trusted friend. For Michael, this means being there for others, especially when they need someone to help them navigate their life with clarity and conviction that they are making the best possible decisions today.
