Sarah Schmidt is an RIA compliance professional with more than four years of experience in the RIA compliance industry across many different firms. At Summit, she works closely with the team to navigate regulatory requirements, strengthen the compliance program, and implement practical solutions that support their business goals. Her background in legal and compliance services has equipped her with a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk management. Sarah earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) through Penn State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Cincinnati.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Sarah is passionate about giving back to her community through volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Parks Foundation. She is an avid runner who has completed ten half marathons and is currently working toward her first full marathon. Sarah also enjoys spending time outdoors with her Labradoodle, Casper, and can often be found backpacking through the Appalachian Mountains. Whether she is volunteering, training for her next race, or exploring new trails, Sarah enjoys challenging herself, staying active, and building meaningful connections within her community.
