What We Offer: A Cup of Coffee and a Second Opinion
The markets are volatile. You want to trust the ones managing your portfolio, but how can you know for sure that you are on the right track? You get a second opinion.
The Markets Have Been Wild. Are You Still On Track?
As investors, you are told to expect market turmoil from time to time and that your portfolio could take a hit. You are told to trust the process.
While this can true, looking at the balance in your retirement accounts in times like these can inevitably cause some concern. Some questions might arise:
- Is it normal to see this much volatility?
- Will I still be able to retire on time?
- Are there opportunities in a down market I could be taking advantage of?
- How can I be proactive?
In times of market volatility, having an experienced financial advisor to help guide you through the rough waters is imperative. And yet, if you are managing your own investments or have an advisor who is not communicating regularly, it can feel like you are alone on the boat.
We want to help. Here's what we offer:
A cup of coffee and a second opinion.
A Second Opinion
At Summit Wealth Group, we've seen a lot of difficult markets come and go. And we can certainly empathize with people who find the current market troublesome and disturbing.
By appointment, we invite you to come in for a cup of coffee. We will sit down, and ask you to briefly outline your financial goals, what your investment portfolio is intended to do for you, and review your current investments.
As fiduciaries when providing investment advice, we are legally obligated to provide advice that is in your best interest. If we think your investments are well-suited to meet your long-term goals -- despite all of the market turmoil -- we'll gladly tell you so and send you on your way.
If, on the other hand, we think some of your investments no longer fit with your goals, we'll explain why in plain English. And, if you like, we'll recommend some alternatives.
Either way, the coffee is on us.
Our Award-Winning Team is Here for You

We know you have many choices when it comes to who will manage your money. At Summit, you are not a number. We take pride on guiding our clients through their specific challenges and opportunities with an emphasis on using your financial plan to bring clarity. That way, it is not us making big decisions for you, it is you making big decisions with greater confidence.
This approach is why Summit Wealth Group has been recognized as leaders in the independent financial advisory space by publications such as Forbes*, Inc Magazine**, and Memphis Magazine***. *Randy Morris was recognized as a 2022 Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor: This ranking was developed by SHOOK Research and is based on in-person, virtual, and telephone due diligence meetings to measure best practices; also considered are: client retention, industry experience, credentials, review of compliance records, firm nominations; and quantitative criteria, such as: assets under management and revenue generated for their firms. Investment performance is not a criterion because client objectives and risk tolerances vary, and advisors rarely have audited performance reports. Overall, 34,925 advisors were considered, and 6,585 (18.8 percent of candidates) were recognized. This recognition and the due-diligence process conducted are not indicative of the advisor's future performance. Your experience may vary. Winners are organized and ranked by state. Some states may have more advisors than others. You are encouraged to conduct your own research to determine if the advisor is right for you. SHOOK does not receive a fee in exchange for rankings. The full methodology that Forbes developed in partnership with SHOOK Research is available here.
**2019 Inc. Magazine 5000 Fastest Growing Companies: Based upon firm’s revenue growth. Investment performance is not a criterion and this recognition is not indicative of the advisor’s future performance.
***Based on 10 objective eligibility and evaluation criteria, including a minimum of 5 years as an active credentialed financial professional, favorable regulatory and complaint history, accepts new clients, client retention rates, client assets administered, education, and professional designations. 542 Memphis area wealth managers were considered for the award; 42 (8% of candidates) were named 2020 Five Star Wealth Managers (The criteria provided reflects the most recent year for which advisor received the award. The criteria used, the number of wealth managers considered for the award, and the percentage of those who receive the award, may vary from year to year). These awards are not indicative of the wealth managers' future performance. Your experiences may vary. For more information, please visit www.fivestarprofessional.com.
